We've been wanting to go on a picnic for a while now and we finally had time last weekend. The night before, we went to Trader Joe's and Safeway to buy food to prepare for our picnic. It was actually fun preparing the food and it was cute too how Daniel's parents were helping us pack/make food. The next afternoon, we drove to Coyote Point Park for our little date! Though it was a bit windy, it was such a beautiful day. The park itself is huuuuuge so even though there were lots of people that day it didn't feel crowded or loud at all. We set up camp right in front of the beach area where people were flying kites and in addition to that, since the park is near the airport, airplanes flew by every few minutes! After settling down, we feasted on smoked salmon+salami sandwiches, deviled eggs, bruschetta, kettle corn, and chocolate covered strawberries! We're fatties, oh yes we are.
