My weekend

This weekend was a pretty simple and relaxing one. I didn't go out much or stay out late at night, mostly just chilled for a bit and spent more time with la familia. It was a nice reminder to always balance between spending quality time with both friends and family.

Friday night: After work, I had dinner with Andrew, David, and their Santa Cruz friends at BJ's. It was a pretty awkward experience because between you and I, A and D aren't very good integrators so I mostly just sat on the side listening to everyone talk. They were going to go clubbing and Steph asked me to go to a house party with her in Foster City but both options seemed pretty ehhhh so I just went home.

Saturday: Yum cha'ed with my family at our (new) usual place. We ate so many dishes that day! So yum :3 David wanted to see Pumps so after going home to pick up Pumpkin, I went to pick up Steph, and then we went to meet up with David at Andrew's house. Tina was there as well and we all just hung out there for a bit. After, we voted between Eggettes and Tpumps and Eggettes won 3 vs 2. Andrew and David wanted tacos so after they bought their tacos, they went back to Andrew's. Steph wanted McDonald's, so we went to buy some snacks drive-thru style. We ordered strawberry creme pies, but they didn't have any, so they ended up giving us four apple pies. Score!

We went back to Andrew's to eat and afterwards, Andrew set up the shooting stuff for them to play around.  David asked me to draw someone for him to shoot so I drew someone that he hated (haha, you already know who). Steph wanted me to draw someone too so I drew David for her. Everyone couldn't stop commenting how cute the drawing was (besides David himself d:)

Sunday: Pumpkin had another visit to the vet today! He got his last set of DHPP shots and has his last set of vaccines in three weeks!! It's perfect timing because he's going to be getting the last two on Saturday and the very next day, we will be heading down to LA for a very last minute planned trip! I can't wait :D It will be a short trip (just Sunday-Wednesday), but a vacation is a vacation! Anyway, we also signed Pumpkin up for his first puppy class! It will be starting May 30th and I can't wait for him to socialize more with both humans and other doggies :)

It's finals weeks and I'm super excited for summer. This summer will be consisted of Saturday vet assistance classes, Pumpkin's puppy classes, work, LA trips, fun, family, and friends! Our family also wanted to take a cruise to Alaska but since it's a bit late to plan (July-August), we're thinking about doing it next year along with going to Hong Kong! I hope all these plans go through because it'd be super super duper super awesome to travel to Alaska and Hong Kong~

I finished The Wedding by Nicholas Sparks and it was such a good book with a really good message, but I'm going to write about it in another blog. I think it deserves its very own entry.
