Breakfast for lunch

I've been craving for breakfast food for...forever. Pictures of french toast, eggs, waffles, sausages have been constantly popping up on my dashboard on Tumblr and today, I finally gave in after seeing this one. Yum or not yum? I think yum! I knew I had some mix in the cupboard so off I went to the kitchen to make me some pancakes!

I've been teaching him "Bang!" (play dead) for the past two-ish days and he's finally getting it! It seems silly, but it really feels like a huge accomplishment every time he successfully learns his tricks~ So far, I take full credit for roll over, kiss, twirl, and bang! The rest of the tricks he knows were all group (or should I say family) effort. In addition to the ones already named, he knows leave it, wait, going in between our legs and then sitting down on our right, go, come, let go, retrieving things, pray, stand, hand/shake, high five, down.....and I think that's it? It pretty amazing to see how much he can do considering he's going three months! Everyone says he's really well trained so I'm very proud of this munchkin :) Isn't he turning into a fine, handsome, young man? Or should I say dog...?
