Herman's 22nd birthday

Since Herman has been wanting to try Tonight's chicken gizzards, I decided to throw him a small surprise party. It was a bit frustrating in the beginning of the day because we had just found out that Dai Bak Leung was in the hospital with lung cancer and my parents were going down to LA right away. I had to ask Herman to pick up my brother and then we had dinner at home. Reservations were at 9pm so I tried to get there around 9:15pm so everyone else could arrive before us. It was a success in surprising Herman! He was so clueless. After we parked, we looked at the restaurant and there were a lot of people waiting outside. Herman was like "Oh man...that's a lot of people waiting." So I just told him to go inside to check how long it would take for two people. When we walked inside..."Surprise!" It was a good one :)


Silly boy was so tipsy. There were two sides of the tables and he had to keep going back and forth drinking.


The watermelon soju is served in an actual small watermelon!

The next day, we had dinner at House of Prime Rib. I've been meaning to bring Herman here since he's never been. It was also a good excuse for me to have some yummy prime rib and more :3
