Seems like an ordinary picture of a piece of bread and meatballs, but this picture reminds me of how blessed I am.
- D was going to drop off meatballs from Kokkari after work on Sunday but he missed my exit so he just went home. The next day when I went over to help with the babies, Momma Yeung told me that D had brought me home meatballs and told her that they were specifically for me (she usually eats them when he brings them home). Then she heated them up for me so I could eat before I headed to work.
- Since I was having dinner with the Yeungs that night, D drove me to work. I told him to drive my car down later when he picked me up because I needed to fill up gas before heading to dinner at Himawari. When he picked me up at 6, I glanced to see if the gas light turned on yet and that was when I realized that he filled up my entire tank for me. He already spends a lot on me (random surprise gifts, food) and this small deed definitely made me realize exactly how much I'm blessed with him and thankful I am for him.
- We had dinner that night at Himawari with his parents and John & Kezia. Whenever we go out like this, it always feels like a family outing/triple date. I love it and I love that his family treats me like family. I'm super fortunate that his parents like me as much as he loves me. After the past few years, I cannot stress enough how much happier I am with this family situation. I know all families are different and I've always known how blessed I am with my own family. As much as my mom yells at me sometimes, our family is always happy and full of laughter and jokes. So cheers to finding another family that is like mine. The boyfriend's family is as important to me as the boyfriend himself. There are many reasons why I love Daniel but I think one of the biggest reasons (and best) is that I love his family as well.
Conversation in bed:
Me: - telling a story about the kids- Kids are annoying sometimes.
D: And you still want two kids?
Me: Yes!
D: Well I will be the abusive dad and hit them.
Me: Well I will be abusive too and knock over all six of your future bikes.
:) I love the Yeungs.
