Good times with good company

After work on Friday, Steph and Gar came to meet me up at Eggettes. We were going to eat dinner at Yakitori Kokko, but when we got there, it turned out that reservations were highly recommended because the next available table would be at 9pm o__O So we left and headed to Joy Sushi since I haven't tried it before. Richard works there so it was a nice surprise :) We ended up ordering four rolls to share and it was delicious!

Mmm, yum! I think it was the Hawaiian Roll, San Bruno Roll, Mango Paradise, and Caltrain Roll.

After dinner, we headed back to Millbrae and since Gar suggested coffee, we decided to go and try Never Too Latte. It's such a cute cafe, I definitely want to go back. It's a pity that they close at 9pm, but next time, I'll go there earlier to just have some me-time :) Steph and I each ordered their famous Red Velvet Latte while Gar got the Vietnamese Iced Coffee.


I wish the latte art was a little prettier :[ Mine was a bit messy. But still a very cute and delicious drink.




While waiting for Duane, we went to Gar's house so he could charge his camera battery. After Duane arrived, we headed out to the Embarcadero to get some night shots! Ahhh, I sooo miss shooting! I miss going out to new places to get good shots and to just explore. Fun shtuff.
 

After some shots, we drove up to Coit Tower and saw this beautiful view:

It wasn't long before the moon completely disappeared which is a good reminder to always cherish the beautiful things in life before it's too late. Some things don't stay too long, some things don't stay forever, it's always good to remember that.

It was already 12am by the time we were finished with getting shots and since Duane was hungry, we went to Creations since they close at 2am. Before I walked in, I said 'I hope I don't see anyone I know...' and what do you know.....Jonathan Lui was inside -.-" SF is too small.

Returned to Millbrae around 1:30am. It was such a long night, but super productive and spontaneous and fun. Here's an extra from my phone:

Gar sat on the couch across from me and I told him to pose for me. He's such a cute one, haha. He didn't know what to do so he gave me this 'cool' pose.

DAZAM. I really need to start sleeping earlier. This lack of sleep is catching up to me.
