#01 8/16/2005 - The day of Agapeland's Appreciation Dinner for teachers and helpers. The night before, Kristy & I slept over at Agnes' house (something we use to do often) and then we met up with Arthur, Darryl, & Jeffrey at Downtown. This picture was taken at Mel's and I remember sharing an avocado burger with either Kristy or Agnes.
#02 10/01/2005 - THIS DAY! LOL. We went out to celebrate Agnes' birthday (Sept. 28) and we secretly planned to cake her. BUT OBVIOUSLY, it didn't work out because as you can see, I was the one that got caked! LOL. How did that happen? I forgot who had the cake, but once Agnes sensed it, she hid behind one of the guys and then two of the other guys went inside (I found out later that they planned inside to cake me instead. -.-) and came back out and bam. Nasty :(
#03 10/22/2005 - We celebrated Melinda's birthday at Kristy's house. My mom made these roll thingys (yumyum) and we made spaghetti, garlic bread, and jello. I remember that we made a defected jello. We put like..pepper, salt, egg & I don't remember what else in it. Then at the end of dinner, we played 007 and whoever lost had to eat a bit of it.
#04 2/22/2006 - I believe this was when we went to celebrate my 16th birthday (late birthday). I think we watched Glory Road? I still remember Arthur giving me his Target giftcard. LOL. We went to eat at Creations after. I don't remember anything special.
#05 2/22/2006 - Same day as the picture before. No explanations needed.
#06 6/19/2006 - I think this was the day that we lagged for like 6 hours at Jeffrey's house? Hahaha. Then we FINALLY decided to go eat at Hawaiian BBQ. After that, we decided to walk to the beach, which was aLOT of blocks away. It was hella hella cold that day so Darryl gave me his jacket (which I realized that he's wearing it in picture #04). By the time we got to the beach, it was sunset. We took some pictures and then went to Burger King to use the bathroom.
#07 12/27/2007 - This day was pretty spontaneous. It was only Agnes, Darryl & I. We were just walking around Downtown and then we decided to take the ferry to Sausalito. I remember we took a lot of pictures while we were waiting. Then when we got over, we got Starbucks and ice cream. Took the ferry back and decided to go eat at Japantown. Jeffrey met us up there and we ate at the ramen place. Yum. Oh! We took stickies that day too! I didn't scan them though d:
#08 4/8/2007 - Baptism day! Agnes was in Irvine so she couldn't make it :( But anyways, I was really happy Darryl & Kristy came :) This makes me want to show you something that Darryl wrote for me about a year and a half ago? It was for summer school and I had to write an autobiography kind of thing. We had to find a person to write a foreword and I asked Darryl. "It was not a mistake".
Well, what can be said about Judith Leung that hasn’t already been said about the war in Iraq? Just kidding. I remember first meeting Judith about six years ago. We met in a classroom at the very top of an old church building where we went to summer school together. My first impression was that she was just another strange, cootie-infested girl. Six years later and that first impression still holds true. But she’s no longer just some strange girl. She’s a strange girl that also happens to be a good friend of mine. Yeah, I ask myself “Why?” too. Seriously though, Judith is great. Throughout the years, we shared countless laughs and experiences. One experience that sticks out is the day that she was to be baptized. Prior to that day, I’d never really seen Judith as the type to address a large crowd. She wasn’t exactly the bravest lion in the pride. Not exactly Mufasa. But that day, she stood up there on the stage and delivered her baptism speech with as much poise as could be expected during such an important occasion. At that moment I knew this strange girl was going to be okay. She’d be able to do whatever she wanted if she tackled every obstacle that came her way the same way she did that day. I don’t know how this will tie in to the autobiography that she has written but hopefully it sheds some light as to the kind of person Judith is and the kind of character she has.
Darryl Leung
Yeah. I was seriously touched. And now, bringing it up again and re-reading it, I still am touched.
#09 3/23/2008 - Date with Agnes =) That day, my family went over to eat at Agnes' house (family friends! We've known each other since I was in 3rd grade. Then we went to the same middle school and high school.) After dinner, decided to go out since Agnes could drive now. Drove around and also passed Jeffrey's house. Haha. Finally ended up at Japantown to take stickies.
#10 6/21/2008 - The last time we all hung out. Throughout the years, our little group minimized to mostly just Agnes, Darryl, Jeffrey & me. This was like the second week after graduation for me and it was the only week that Agnes had in SF until she went back to Irvine. We all met up at Agnes' house (as usual) and then debated whether Darryl or Agnes should drive. Darryl drove and we went to Japantown to eat at On The Bridge. Took stickies and then we went to Tuttimelon (not the one on Irving). Everyone was busy that night, so we separated. Darryl drove me to Linda's house and I found out later from him that he got into a small car accident afterwards =/
