So I told my mom I wasn't coming back home this weekend because I had a project to work on Saturday. However, it was part of my plan to surprise her. Her birthday's on Monday but since I'm gonna be back in SJ, I decided to do it early. Plus my dad's in HK 'till Tuesday and I totally knew she would be disppointed if I really wasn't coming back. Before my dad got on the plane on Tuesday, he reminded me to help him surprise my mom, so here's what I did. Nothing big, but I know she was actually surprised and really happy :)

Around 530PM, Diana & I got on the cal-train and headed back to SF. We got off at the 22nd stop and Clauren picked us up. Dropped Diana off and I also got the puzzle that Diana helped me order. We picked up Mimi and then Clauren dropped us off at Mimi's house. Worked on the puzzle and I tell you, from doing puzzles, we learned that we can be smart & blind at the same time. Hahaha. Anyways, super thanks to Mimi for helping me with the puzzle and helping me get the cake ♥ Around 10PM, my brother called me and was already rushing me home. Mimi's dad dropped me off back home (thanks!).

I rang the doorbell and I heard my mom go 'It's so late..who is it?' to my brother. She peeked through the window (which ruined the surprise -.- haha) and opened the door to me, who was holding the cake (out of the box) in one hand and the puzzle in the other. Oh she was surprised alright :)

#04 Finished puzzle :D When I was making it, it brought back memories of grad back. I miss high school d: Anyways, this isn't the final product. Also had a frame around it. But I didn't take a picture of it when it was all done.

#09 My mom told me to take a picture of a slice of cake for my dad. Haha. So this slice is for my dad :) I shall tag him on Facebook. Hahaha.

#11 So I got bored of my side-swept bangs since everyone has that now d: I don't know if I'll stick with this. If I end up not liking it, I'll just sweep it back to the side. Haha. Yes or no? d: I think it makes me look younger. Did I also mention how I'M FREAKING BREAKING OUT!? -.- I need to start sleeping earlier. THE HORROR.
